Cathy and another separated at birth

Cathy Guisewhite has announced that on October 3, she will stop drawing her comic strip 'Cathy'.   It also says she's been around for 34 years.   I'm getting old, no doubt.  I can admit I have not read the strip in years because I get my news from the net but I know that she started out as a insecure single with boyfriend, work, mom & weight problems and I do know that she's gotten married to her Irving.  The comments on CNN say it's time and it probably has run it's course.   But I enjoyed it while I read it.   Best of luck writer Cathy.
