In another of the lawsuit takes the cake, a woman is suing Google maps because she had used their service to get walking directions from one location to another and while following those directions, she got hit by a car. There is an actual disclaimer on their website that says:
Walking directions are in beta.
Use caution – This route may be missing sidewalks or pedestrian paths.
She was walking alone, at night. Should Google know if there are muggers out there?
She should be suing her mother for not telling her to look both ways before crossing the street.
Idiots.
