It's Jackie Robinson Day

A life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives.
Jackie Robinson

Today is the 64th anniversary of the day Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier to play in Major League Baseball.  In 1997, MLB retired his number league wide. The number 42 It will never again be issued to another player.  Today, only Mariano Rivera wears the number and that is because he wore it before the retirement date.

Every player on all teams today wore the number 42 in his honor.   Its a pretty cool thing to do.
