Skin in public

There was a debate on my Facebook page about whether women who are breastfeeding should be "forced" to cover up in public. Actually, it was a poll...so you say not they should not or you are a baby hating bitch with breast issues...nothing in the middle. But I have a middle attitude, so here it goes.

A woman should not have to be "forced" cover in public. I know the benefits of breastfeeding and it is a good thing. But just as the mom has the right to feed her child and not have to do it in a bathroom, I have the right to not have tits in my face. And before the tomato throwing starts, I also don't want to see 40 pounds of cleavage, belly button rings, bare midriffs, butt cheeks, boys with the tops of their pants down to their knees or anyone in the grocery store in their pajamas. Do people truly not have any sense of propriety anymore? And do their rights really mean more than mine? I will go out on a limb and say that anyone woman who wants to feed her child and not do it in a bathroom can find a private place to do it without whipping out a boob in a lobby of a public building, a movie theater or a restaurant. Last year a woman was given a ticket for breast feeding her child while driving in a school zone, in the rain and talking on her cell phone. Talk about multitasking!!!

So the answer is no, a woman should not be forced. She should have the good sense to do it without being forced.
